Excavations at the Kotel

So a while back I heard they were going to extend to kotel plaza by flattening out a hilly area at the back of the current plaza. But you never just dig in the old city of Yerushalayim – you have to have archeological excavations. And so they it looks like that’s what I saw last week when I took these pictures. I was back again and it looks like excavations are near complete. You can see (even in these photos) what looks like the remains of houses. In any case someone please remind me to bring my good camera with me next time I go!
